After more than ten years promotion and teaching, there are hundreds of the colleagues have been trained with scalp acupuncture (SA) worldwide. There are increasing requests for scalp acupuncture treatments from patients. For the purposes of providing better services to patients and easy for them to search suitable SA practitioners, and communications within members, the Academy of Scalp Acupuncture UK (ASA) has published its membership rules and set the standards and criteria of levels for scalp acupuncture practitioners.
- Acupuncture practitioners who have gained the scalp acupuncture training, no matter which style, are eligible to join ASA with the prove of training certificates.
- The annual membership fee is £40, including listed on ASA website (scalpacupuncture.co.uk) and e-copy of membership certificate. If need printed membership certificate of ASA, extra £20 is chargeable for print and postage.
- The list on ASA website could include member’s name, clinic address, website, email, contact number, trainings, and different levels, etc.
- If you are a qualified acupuncturist to level 4 or above you may join ARA (Acupuncture Regulatory Authority) membership at £30 extra for members that are not part of a ARA organisations, to access ARA benefits.(acupunctureregulatoryauthority.org.uk)
